Product Description Considering that water makes up over 95-percent of each cup of coffee (even if you added a copius amount of sugar), microscopic particles and minerals can contaminate the taste of even the best cup of coffee or tea. What a catastrophe if the prime ingredients that fill each Keurig K-Cup meet with distasteful water. Unfortunately, many areas of the USA still have relatively hard water. That's where the Keurig 5072 Water Filter Replacement becomes an essential accessory. It's about health but, most of all, it's taste. Smart audio sensor for auto on/off power Includes 4-feet audio extension cable to reach auxiliary ports 3.5mm audio cable 2.4-GHz wireless remote with optional steering wheel mount Warranty - LiquidAUX Deluxe for iPhone and iPod is backed by the Kensington 2-Year warranty

Does not work in B140 May 12, 2010 I purchased this filter as it states it works with model B140...this is not true (confirmed by Keurig)...even though it says on the box and on amazon that it works on that model it does not ...so I do not recomend buying it if you have a B140.
Seemed like a good idea at the time... March 13, 2010 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought a Keurig unit a week ago, and it came with a bonus "gift" of the water filter accessory. Initially, it seemed an odd fit in the water container portion of the unit, but I was able to place it there. The next morning, when I turned on the unit, it would not stay on. Every time I turned it on, it would turn off again within a few seconds. The water wouldn't heat and the unit wouldn't stay on. I removed the water filter accessory and have had no problems since. I don't know what the connection is, but the unit wasn't happy when the water filter accessory was attached. I use water from a Brita filter pitcher so I don't really need the Keurig filter. Seemed like a good idea at the time....
Keurig February 15, 2010 This filter is an additional level of assurance that the coffee produced by the Keurig single cup will be the best tasting possible. The filter is easy to replace and has a handy date reminder as well. I think that this would be especially valuble in water systems with various impurities
Really does make a difference February 14, 2010 I was shocked when my Keurig brewer recommended using filtered or distilled water. At first I used tap water but worried about the side-effects of mineral build up on my much loved Keurig. Filling the water tank several times a day with bottled water was an expensive hassle. This little filter solved the problem. I was really surprised that using the filter made such a distinct difference in the flavor of my coffee and tea. Installation is quick and easy and there is no maintenance to worry about --nothing to do but enjoy your beverages for 60 days since each charcoal cartridge lasts for two months. The filter also has a reminder that you set to help you remember when to put in a new filter cartridge. This is a definite must for hassle free enjoyment of your Keurig. The small price greatly increases the value of your expensive Keurig brewer. Get this and change the filter as needed. You will love your Keurig even more!
Keurig does not recommend these any longer February 3, 2010 14 out of 14 found this review helpful
I bought two of these filters. I installed one in my B70 at home and the other in my B60 in my office. The B70 continues to work but the B60 is no longer working. The pump runs and makes noise but the machine does not take in water. I contacted Keurig who told me that the newer machines have a "more sensitive" pump and that these filters have been causing problems. Sounds like the newer machines have a weaker pump that can't pull the water through. Since removing the filter, the machine only sometimes works so Keurig has offered to replace it with a new machine. They recommended I remove the filter from my B70 before it also breaks and offered me a free 24 pack of coffee to make up for the $36 I spent on these two filters (purchased from Bed, Bath and Beyond) Good cust service, no complaints there... but I don't recommend his filter (and Keurig agrees)
