The Blue Cool Water Carrier & Dispenser by Coleman (5 gallons no less), is built like brick out house!! Very strong and durable material. Handle is great and well positioned for the 35 lb. haul. The roughed edge around the middle of the container, prevents slippage on tables and smooth surfaces. The Blue Cool Water Carrier & Dispenser, will even fit on the bottom shelf of your fridge!(if you're so inclined). The dispenser cap and nozzle are made of high impact plastic, with a thick rubber gasket, to prevent leaks. The spigot handle turns easily. I recommend this very highly, great well built product, great price, and the name brand "Coleman", gives it the reputation to be tough.

The positive reviews convinced me to purchase a couple of these water carriers, and they do meet my expectations. For the uninitiated, HDPE (high-density polyethylene) is a tough, food-safe plastic frequently used in applications like detergent bottles, playground furniture, and other demanding applications. I trust these containers to be there when I need them.
Everyone should have a few of these stashed away somewhere, filled, in their vehicle or dwelling in case your water supply is disrupted. Just keep in mind that a gallon of water weighs approximately 8.3 lbs, meaning less physically-capable people need to work with smaller containers.

I bought two of these for a Boy Scout campout. Neither of the spigots lasted the weekend, one of them didn't even last a day before it broke off.

i purchased a few of these jugs to gather spring water from a local source. i would rather have my water in glass, but glass is too pricey for me at this present moment in time and extremely heavy to lift. these jugs serve their purpose wonderfully. they are very sturdy, the water seal for the on/off spigot is very tight, and the additional air flow cap is awesome. i searched other jugs before purchasing these jugs and i would have to say that these jugs were well worth the money spent(the best decision out of all the other similar jugs from other brands that i researched).
